We have interviewed Mr. Trond Nerland, teacher and coach, who uses LearningChess to improve the chess skills of his 8-16 years old students in both places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>In the interview, Trond points out interesting differences in teaching chess in schools and chess clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LearningChess: How do you use LearningChess as a school teacher?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trond<\/strong>: At L\u00f8ten Junior High School, I have used LearningChess in my class to inspire students to improve their chess skills. I kept an eye on their progress in the Learning Management module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LearningChess: What are the future plans? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trond<\/strong>: Beginning this fall, we\u2019ll use LearningChess more regularly during our in-person chess training Wednesdays, when they all come to the club. Om de blir raskt ferdig med et st\u00f8rre prosjekt i engelsk eller historie, s\u00e5 f\u00e5r de gj\u00f8re sjakk som en fortjent pause fra vanlig skolearbeid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LearningChess: Hva slags enheter bruker dere for LearningChess p\u00e5 skolen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trond<\/strong>: Siden alle elevene mine har iPader, s\u00e5 er det lett for dem \u00e5 trene p\u00e5 egenh\u00e5nd i klasserommet.
