The problems arising on the chessboard are universal, so the skills can be more easily transferred to other domains where they can be used successfully. The development of mathematical logic, generalization, and thinking in systems are enormously helpful for grasping the essentials of STEM domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The five chapters of the book: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>visuospatial skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>logic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>problem solving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>chess mathematics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>algorithmic thinking. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To use this book, one would only need to be familiar with the basic movement of the chess pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of the games and puzzles can be used with children of different ages and abilities. The reader will receive an extensively tested material. The diagrams were made with our proprietary LogiQ Board, and all of them are attached in digital format. These can be loaded into the editor and are ready to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board Buddies in LogiQ Land is meant to be the first part of a series. The emphasis is on enhancing specific skills like classifying, evaluating, and analytical thinking. The reader will find recommendations about the age of the target group as well as difficulty levels for each game and puzzle. These can be only referential since \u2018average child\u2019 is a rather abstract term. Certain puzzles can be presented to a four-year-old child, depending on the parent\u2019s or teacher\u2019s evaluation. The problems can be solved alone, in pairs, or even in small groups. The games are for two or more players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth considering to use the recommended text for children, just like the hints, which will help to use this book most efficiently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find proposed variants for each example, so you can modify the level of difficulty or alter the goal of the game. Each task and game comes with instructions, targeted age groups and development areas, hints for practical use, and task descriptions in the language of children. No chess piece can touch the water. How can the Knight reach a square which is in two steps diagonally?
