We are excited to announce that Mr. Sylvain Ravot<\/strong>, FIDE Master and chess teacher, and LearningChess have signed a cooperation agreement<\/strong>. The aim of the cooperation is to further develop the LearningChess online chess education system, and make it available to students and chess fans in their native language in France and other francophone countries.<\/p>\n

While the main focus of the cooperation is on scholastic chess, the popular LearningChess home study solution will also be fully translated. Mr. Ravot will represent LearningChess in the francophone territories, and will widely acquaint the LearningChess Central Management, Learning Management and Teacher Training systems with the national chess federations, school districts and chess schools.<\/p>\n

LearningChess’ mission is to popularize chess – both as a game and as a personal development tool – all over the world, and this cooperation with Mr. Ravot is an important milestone on this way.<\/p>\n

The first French course with 36 lessons containing more than 1.000 challenges, and the Tactics Trainer are already available on the LearningChess website. New Grandmaster Lessons will be added regularly from September.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sylvain Ravot <\/strong>is a FIDE Master, chess teacher since 2003. He was a chess coach for French Youth Team from 2014 to 2016. He has worked with French Chess Federation, with Europe Echecs and several major chess websites. He was a commentator in French of major events like World Chess Championships. He developed chess teaching tools and publishes weekly free educative chess videos on his Youtube channel.<\/p>\n

LearningChess<\/strong> is a prominent provider of online chess education with worldwide presence. LearningChess has complete solution for home users, and for scholastic chess – ranging from small clubs to country-wide projects.<\/p>\n

The authors thank J\u00e9r\u00f4me Maufras, Guillaume Leenhardt, Philippe Kalman, Thomas Liegeois and CUBE chess club for volunteer help at the translation.<\/p>\n

La mission de LearningChess est de populariser les \u00e9checs \u2013 \u00e0 la fois en tant que jeu et en tant qu’outil de d\u00e9veloppement personnel \u2013 partout dans le monde, et cette coop\u00e9ration avec M. Ravot est une \u00e9tape importante dans cette direction.<\/p>\n

Le premier cours en fran\u00e7ais est disponible avec 36 le\u00e7ons contenant plus de 1000 questions. L’entra\u00eenement tactique est \u00e9galement accessible sur le site. Sylvain Ravot<\/strong> est Ma\u00eetre FIDE, entra\u00eeneur d’\u00e9checs depuis 2003. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 entra\u00eeneur de l’\u00e9quipe de France Jeunes de 2014 \u00e0 2016. Il a travaill\u00e9 avec la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Fran\u00e7aise des Echecs, avec Europe Echecs (la revue et le site) et plusieurs sites d’\u00e9checs importants. Il a comment\u00e9 en fran\u00e7ais des \u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs comme le championnat du monde d’\u00e9checs. Il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des outils d’enseignement du jeu d’\u00e9checs et publie chaque semaine des vid\u00e9os d’\u00e9checs p\u00e9dagogiques gratuites sur sa cha\u00eene Youtube.<\/p>\n

LearningChess<\/strong> est une plateforme importante d’enseignement du jeu d’\u00e9checs en ligne, diffus\u00e9e dans le monde entier. Elle est adapt\u00e9e aux particuliers aussi bien que pour les projets de jeu d’\u00e9checs scolaires ou les clubs d’\u00e9checs, petits ou grands.<\/p>\n
